舊金山州立大學（SFSU）建於1899年，位於舊金山市區西南角，佔地約106公頃，是一所著名的公立大學，在全美4000多所高等院校中享有極高的聲譽。最熱門的科係是商業管理，其次是社會科學和歷史學系。

草        學校名稱曾經歷四次變革，從舊金山教師學院(San Francisco State Teachers College)，舊金山州立學院(San Francisco State College)，加州州立大學舊金山校區(California State University, San Francisco) 一直到現在的舊金山州立大學(San Francisco State University)。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1    由於它擁有百年曆史，所以有人用 “When you walk across SFSU's campus, you walk across the world” 來形容它。舊金山州立大學隸屬全美國最大的四年制公立大學系統。
